単純な世界は美しい。——-人間と人間がお互いを獣のように追い回し、躊躇いもなく撃ち殺し、蹴り付けても動かない死体に変えるのは、川から霧が漂いあがるキエフの夕暮れと同じくらい、日が昇っても虫の声が聞こえるだけで全てが死に絶えたように静かなミハイロフカの夜明けと同じくらいに美しい。
